Air National Guard Airman 1st Class David J. Heitman has graduated from six weeks of basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Heitman of Sewell. Heitman is a 1998 graduate of Clearview Regional High School, Mullica Hill, and received a bachelor's degree in 2004 from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona.
Army Reserve Maj. John R. Heil has been deployed to Iraq as part of a medical task force in the region. The son of Henry R. Heil of Clayton, he is assigned as part of Task Force 3rd Medical Command, a headquarters unit that has command and control over 30 medical units and 3,000 soldiers. The task force is responsible for all medical care throughout the Iraqi theater of operations. Heil, who graduated from Gateway High School in Aurora, Colo., in 1980, has had an Army reserve career spanning more than 20 years with two previous deployments.
Army National Guard Pvt. Ronald E. Webber has graduated from nine weeks of basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Webber earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Ronald Webber of N. Repauno Ave., Gibbstown, and Mary Anderson of Philadelphia.
