Thought for the Day: YOU CAN'T STEAL MY CHRISTMAS x
Poem by Sharon Steege
I don't know who they are
Saying I can't greet the crowd
the way that I want to
can't say **CHRISTMAS** out loud.
I walk into a business place
See things that I rather not see
But dare I not say **CHRISTMAS**
and ask for a "holiday" tree.
What happened to freedom of speech
and living in the land of the free
How can they take my **CHRISTMAS** money
But can't say **MERRY CHRISTMAS** to me.
Men and women have given their lives
so we could still go free
I wonder how they would feel
at saying HOLIDAY TREE.
Come on AMERICA let's wake up
don't let our freedom escape
If they get by with doing this
what else will they take.
This is starting to get out of hand,
And I've begun to keep track
Well I've just about had enough
I'M TAKING CHRISTMAS BACK.*
So MERRY CHRISTMAS AMERICA**
I hope this gets all over the net
If we all stand united and take freedom back
'Twill be our best CHRISTMAS YET!
Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!

What are you a radical type gal, I don't know Carol Ruggerio and I do apologize to Mr.Brown for my comments, you were right. One more thing, Mr. Cleary is everyone's friend if you want him to be. If you have any problems and could use help he might steer you in the right direction, I guess, I don't really know him.
Take it easy ingrateful1, see ya EASTER

1877. I think Ms. Steege's poem is beautiful and wish no one ill who believes in ANYTHING. But if I write a response to what I see as hurtful venom based on "rumors" by Carol Ruggerio I'm a heretic.
However, it's OK for you and "Peace" to mock another's beliefs and thats ok.
As long as it doesn't offend a friend of Bill Cleary's you're allowed to mock the guy/gal?

Thank you I did some reading and found that no one really knows the actual birth date. However along time ago someone choose 12/25 to celebrate so I do not see your point in that except being a good christian and making someone aware of the facts.I still stick by my comment that the woman was speaking her opinion not shoving her god down anyones throat as you indicated in your compassion comment to Mr. Brown bro.

Yeah um, hi. Just so ya know...Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. Try reading a book. And I was just trying to show some compassion, as Rick did, to someone who seems down and out. Some people actually try to ACT like a Christian, belief or not, instead of PREACHING about it.

I forgot to mention in my last comment,12/25 Jesus Christ was born in which the day was named Christmas. Just like on your birthday family and friends celebrate. Well Jesus appears to have alot of friends that celebrate. Let everyone Know your name and birth date so we can complain during your special time.

It appears that the thought of the day did not pertain to Joe Brown and yourself based on your comments. To me the thought did not try to push christianity down anyones throat it was merely someones opinion. However it appears that Joe and yourself are shoving your non christian opinion. Now if you had a thought of the day talking about your non christian beliefs the christian's would not respond because it did not concern them, try that and see how many responses you get.xoxoxo

Joe;
I know how you feel. It's hard this time of year when all the Christians wanna shove their God down your throat. Be strong bro.

Joe Brown, You poor thing! You sound like Scrooge and the Grinch who did not have enough love in their hearts. May the peace of Christ be upon you. May your heart be softened and your mind renewed about the wonderous love God has for all of us. I will pray for you because you are obviously in pain. I hope you will let the love of humans and the Christ Child into your heart so you can enjoy life. That's a terrible self made prison you are in, Joe Brown. Choose a life of love rather than hatred and anger. You will certainly be happier.

It sounds like the sun doesn't shine to much in your world. As the women said nobody is going to stop us, Merry Christmas Mr. Brown.
Now Rick do you really think this moron will give you a logical explanation? MERRY CHRISTMAS RICK and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you Precious and PINKY
