Re: The Monies Stolen from the Gloucester City Little League
To the residents of Gloucester City,
I am the daughter of Harry and Shirley Fox and the sister of Harry Fox Jr. I am asking that you, the residents, do not make my parents feel like suspects along with my brother.
My parents and I had no knowledge of what had been going on in the G.C.L.L. My parents are now embarrassed to show their face in the city where they have lived their entire lives. My parents are the best parents anyone could ask for and they have instilled in us to be honest, sometimes things don't always turn out the way we or they expect.
I can only hope my brother gets the help he needs and realizes what he has done to the families of children in the G.C.L.L. They trusted him and he has certainly failed everyone.
All my family members, including myself, my nephew, my niece, my sister-in-law and my parents are victims in this situation. Also, please do not make my parents feel they are not welcomed in their home town.
Thank you for allowing me to express my thoughts with you, the residents and friends who reside in Gloucester City.
Nancy Fox-Smatana
Lumberton, NJ

Redsey K./Every other day man,
Don't get monkey boy to be your messenger boy. If you you want to break em then we'll break em. Is it game on or what?

Flash, I agree with you Harry Fox is a scumbag. With any luck he will do his community service around town so people can actually see the little thief. Maybe when they start digging up the football and baseball fields he can lend a hand without a protective suit of course

1:48pm and 9:45am I never claimed, nor do I want to be their friend. I feel sorry for homeless people, but I don't want to break bread with them. I don't know what your problem is,but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

Flash,
You know nothing about the Fox family, I suggest you keep your
comments to yourself. I don't ever recall your name mentioned as being a friend to the family. What makes you such an expert on what is going on in the family.

Harry Madara,
Keep up the good work, why don't you run for council in town or the BOE. You're very informed about The Mecca. I remember when you worked at the Broadway Deli. You had very curly hair,I hope you didn't mess around with the pickle barrel.

Don't be coy,you know I was responding to 9:45am . *Good people don't gloat on misfortune of others *. So you should take your Camden County College degree , and try to belittle someone else. Who the hell is gloating? Mom & Dad Fox knew his role w/ the GCLL. I'm sorry what happened to them, but shame on them for not giving the LL a heads up. Misery loves company

Would you all please stop! To my recollection, there has only been one person who blamed the family of Harry Fox, Jr. for his actions. This person, who was obviously misinformed or just had an ax to grind, was quickly corrected and ridiculed. Please everyone stop posting as though the Fox family is the victim in this ordeal, they're not, only one idiot attempted to fault them for it. If the Fox family feels like they're afraid to go out in public then that's something they have to deal with. They can only blame Harry, Jr. and his obvious insatiable greed. Instead of talking about their insecurity we should be asking what he did with the money from both thefts. I have to wonder was he living well above his means or did he spend the money on washie washes.

Flash. You're so consumed with anger. My advice...Let Go and Let God. That Jimmy Rauchut is a good kid, follow his lead and learn to forgive.

Please reread the the letter that generates this thread. As I read it, it is an appeal by Mrs. Smatana to allow the community to recognize and understand the Fox family position and feelings. If you feel she has made any false or misleading statements, by all means address them. But if you have erroniously posted your statements under the wrong thread it would do well to recognize the error and ask Mr. Cleary to relocate it. It appears to fit appropriately under the missing LL funds thread.
I think that we the residents of Gloucester City have said in no uncertain terms that we are offended and desire stern corrective action. You and I are equally guilty of not taking appropriate steps when we failed to demand the swift and stern corrective action after the first fireman stole money.
If you disagree with me please feel free to post your dissent under the missing LL funds thread and I assure you I will respond.

That's BULL SHITE,Who the hell is gloating. If you call stating a couple of "Facts". Asking why measures were not taken from family members of the thief ,that could have prevented this whole ordeal gloating. I ask you this, what color is the sky in "your" world ?
You're right, most of the town is sorry for the family, myself included. But the fact still remains the "Slime Bag" will get away with a slap on the wrist.

All of the "good people" of Gloucester City are praying for the families of those effected by this tragedy. Good people do not gloat on the misfortunes of others.

I have known Harry Sr for many years and it is unfortunate that he and his family have to suffer with the negative comments that are being made. It is important to know that Harry Sr served this community for many years and put in countless hours as a member of the Highland Park Fire Company. Harry I wish only the best for you and your family.
Regards
Jim

Nancy,
I'm truly sorry what your family is going through. But, a little bit of a heads up would have been nice. It took longer to run the family business into the ground, than what he did to GCLL. It's a lose, lose for everyone. Except for little Harry because he will get off w/ a slap on the wrist.
