Support scholarships for poorest students

New Jersey's Abbott districts spend more, per pupil, to educate poor children than almost every school district in the nation. And what do New Jersey taxpayers get for their investment of billions of tax dollars -- failing schools in the largest and poorest Abbott districts and kids who don't get an education that gives them a chance to escape poverty.
The sad reality is, years of pouring billions of
dollars into public schools in Camden, Newark, Trenton and other urban
areas has done little to change student performance and dropout rates.
