Southern New Jersey got slammed with a "winter" storm Monday - two weeks before Memorial Day.
But since the heavy weather started moving into the area Sunday, Jim Eberwine of the National Weather Service predicted that it will be remembered as the Mother's Day Storm of 2008.
And it earned that place in local weather history, the meteorologist added.
