Five decades ago, baseball great Yogi Berra was looking for a nice home
that would allow him to commute to the ballpark. On Sunday, his
decision to buy in New Jersey will land the Missouri native as a member
of the New Jersey Hall of Fame's first class of inductees. He'll
join 15 prominent New Jerseyeans, including singer Bruce Springsteen
and astronaut Buzz Aldrin on the inaugural list of people the Garden
State is proudest of. "It felt good as a kid coming from Missouri. I've been living here for 52 years. I felt honored," said Berra, 82.
