A 1979 Gloucester Catholic High school graduate, Lombardi has the distinction of being the only New Jersey athlete, male or female, to have started on four consecutive state championship teams.
And what a ride it was during her high school and later her collegiate basketball career at San Diego State University.
At Gloucester Catholic, the 5-10 Lombardi collected more than 1,000 career points and 1,400 rebounds and led the Rams to an historic four state crowns.
