Enjoy a family-friendly Haunted Walk through Lakeland It’s Haunting time and Camden County 4-H volunteers and members are busy transforming Lakeland into the annual Haunted Walk. Held on Fri., Oct. 11 and Sat., Oct. 12 from 7-10:30 pm, the walk takes place in and around the Camden County Office of Sustainability at 508 Lakeland Road, Blackwood. Suggested for children ages 8 and up, the Haunting serves as the largest 4-H fundraiser of the year and has been held for more than 25 years. I AM a Teenager, which means I'm a senior citizen who feels like a teenager. I got everything I wanted when I was a teen, but it's been 60 years since then. I don't have to go to school or work anymore, and I get money every month. I have my own place to live and no curfew. I have a driver's license and my own car, so I can go wherever I want. Camden County Under a Code Blue Alert

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – Commissioner Virginia Betteridge, liaison to the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services, advises municipalities that the region will be under a Code Blue Advisory Monday evening into Tuesday morning. The Health Officer has issued the Code Blue advisory for Camden County effective from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., beginning January 8 to the morning of January 9. Temperatures during the code blue will drop as low as 31 degrees. August 15 - We moved to our new home in Jersey. It's so beautiful here. The lake to the north looks so majestic. I can hardly wait to see it snow-covered. I'm going to love it here! October 14 - Jersey is definitely the most beautiful place on earth. The leaves have turned all the colors and shades of red and orange. Went for a ride through the park and saw some deer. EDITOR'S NOTE--I came across an article written in 2011 by Jack "The Bomber" Bennett while researching an upcoming piece. Jack reminisces about growing up in Gloucester City during the 50s and 60s and how wonderful it was back then.
